The Triathlon solution:
athlosoft ATHLETE - Triathlon Edition - provides all the necessary components of a pulse- and performance- oriented training for all kinds of cycling and rowing sports. It includes an integrated cadence, heart rate measurements, as well as barometer and temperature measurements. The athlosoft MOBILE software is intuitive and easy to use.

Your pulse rate information is sent from the athlosoft ERGOHxM via bluetooth to your smartphone. For cycling the sensor is mounted on the bike and sends pulse, pedal rotations, speed, altitude, and temperature to your smartphone. For rowing, the sensor is mounted on the boat and provides also information on the strokes, and an analysis of the stroke rate variations, in relation to the pulse rate can be done after the training.
With the integrated (or external) GPS of your smartphone, all your relevant training and competition information are recorded in relation to your actual position, and may be displayed via athlosoft Live on the Web instantaneously. This provides you more security on mountainous routes, with more enduring sessions, and more adventurous training sessions.
Description of each component:
athlosoft MOBILE software
The athlosoft MOBILE enables your Windows Mobile (5.0 or higher) smartphone/PDA to be your personal multi-sports training partner. It may also be configured to support multiple athletes, and/or specific equipments. Your personal body parameters, your individual sport equipment, weight, and your individual training zones are entered once and may be adjusted as necessary during the training season. There are 10 touch-screen icons tailored to the specific sport – e.g. distance, speed, cadence, pulse rate, power, burned calories, altitude, incline, and used gears - actuals are captured and visible conveniently at a glance, and further details are shown - showing the graphically the desired parameter with the respective total, minimum, maximum data. With the integrated (or external) GPS of your smartphone, all your relevant training and competition information are recorded in relation to your actual position, and may be displayed via athlosoft Live on the Web instantaneously.
athlosoft ERGOCAD Sensor
The ERGOCAD sensor is mounted on the left chain spoke of your sports bike. It has two cadence sensors, one for pedal frequency, and another for speed measurement, as well as a barometer and a thermometer. It has also an integrated „ANT+sport“ receiver module that captures the pulse rate from the ERGOHR chest belt. All data are transmitted via Bluetooth signals to the smartphone. The rechargeable Li-Ion battery allows up to 18 hours of cycling.
athlosoft ERGOHxM chest belt
The ERGOHxM chest belt transmits the pulse rate via Bluetooth signals to your smartphone/PDA, and the further via GPRS or UMTS to the WEB. The Bluetooth signals ensure a coded and seamless data transmission. The built-in acceleration sensor of the ERGOHxM allows the measurement of your stride frequency and the calculation of your stride length (these will be available in Version 1.2. in Q2/09)
